Keep in mind that to accomplish any fitness related goal, it’s important to make sure you are doing all the necessary things you need. I.E. proper warm up, strength exercises, cardio, stretching, etc. Also, you need to make sure you’re not doing too much too soon, or progressing too quickly. Therefore, you should probably organize your activities for exercises into a workout program. You can either create your own, or purchase a packaged workout program.

Also, some of these activities are listed in more than one category. That’s because the activity can have multiple intensities based on how hard you work at it. I.E. cycling can be considered low intensity if you go out for a casual ride, but it can also be considered high intensity if you are riding vary hard uphill. Get it?

Best Exercise Program

For any goal there are good exercises, even best exercises. But, even the best exercises would be pretty useless when performed alone. In fact, even a good exercise could cause a strength imbalance which could eventually lead to injury. Therefore, all exercises should be part of a quality framework called an exercise program (AKA exercise routine).

One option to get an exercise program is to create your own. It really is the best way to get one that is perfectly customized to meet your needs. Another, more popular option is to purchase a packaged exercise program. There are a lot of crappy ones out there, but there are some some very good ones as well.
